Do players need to download an app?
No. Players join instantly using a link or QR code on any device — phone, tablet, or computer.
Is Trivia Stuff really free?
Yes. All plans are currently offering a 2-month free trial. No credit card required. Family Plan is always free!
Pricing & Plans
Do I need to enter a credit card to start?
No credit card is required to register or use Trivia Stuff during the free trial. Only if you want to subcribe after the trial ends.
What plans are available?
Trivia Stuff offers plans for bars (happy hour events), education (teachers & students), families and businesses. All plans include AI-assisted game creation and access to the large game library.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. You can cancel your account at any time with no contracts or obligations.
Game & Quiz Creation
Do I have to write my own questions?
No. You can use our free pre-made trivia games, create your own questions, or let AI generate questions or games for you based on categories. Add "keywords" to help AI make your game more specific.
What is AI game creation?
AI game creation allows you to select categories, difficulty level, text or multiple choice question type (or combo), or upload PDFs/text, and Trivia Stuff will automatically generate questions for your game.
Can I create quizzes from PDFs or text?
Yes. Upload a PDF or paste text and instantly convert it into a quiz or trivia game using AI. Available on education plan.
Gameplay & Sharing
How do players join a game?
Players join by scanning a QR code or clicking a game link — no account required.
Can games be live or self-paced?
Yes. You can run a Game Master–controlled live experience or share a self-paced quiz players complete on their own.
Does Trivia Stuff support text responses or just multiple choice?
Yes. Trivia Stuff supports automatic grading of text responses based on close word matching with the ability to review and adjust answer responses in real time.
Can I see player responses in real time?
Yes. As players answer questions, you can monitor responses live from the Game Master dashboard. This allows you to review answers, give credit for close answers, catch mistakes, and stay fully engaged while the game is running.
How does scoring, timing, and analytics work?
Trivia Stuff automatically scores games in real time, tracks response speed, and calculates final rankings. Game analytics include high scores, fastest responses, accuracy rates, and percentiles to highlight top performers.
